Flourish & Thrive with EA is a trauma-informed therapy practice founded by Elizabeth Akinniyi, helping individuals, couples, and families heal from trauma, childhood wounds, and unhealthy relationship patterns through compassionate, evidence-informed therapy.
We are based in Lagos, Nigeria. However all sessions are delivered online via Google Meet making our services accessible to clients across Nigeria and internationally including the UK, USA, and Dubai.
Yes. We are registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria as Elonpeer Trauma Recovery Network — Business Name Registration No. 9847588—trading as Flourish and Thrive with EA.
No. Faith and therapy are partners — not competitors. Our work is rooted in Isaiah 61 and we honour both your spiritual life and your clinical needs in every session.
We offer individual therapy, couples therapy, group healing sessions free counselling twice weekly, and free resources including worksheets, guides, and YouTube videos.
Elizabeth uses Cognitive Behavioural Therapy CBT, Advanced Somatic Healing, and Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT), tailoring the approach to each client’s specific needs.
Yes. We offer free counselling sessions twice weekly for individuals who cannot afford paid therapy. Visit our Free Counselling page to apply. Nobody who is ready to heal gets turned away because of money.
Yes to both. Couples therapy supports relationships dealing with communication breakdown, trust issues, and unhealthy patterns rooted in past traumas. Premarital counseling helps couples build a strong foundation before marriage.
Trauma can affect how we think, feel, relate to others, and respond to life experiences. If something from your past continues to affect your present, counselling can help you explore it safely. A professional assessment can provide greater clarity.

How do I book an appointment?
Visit our Book an Appointment page, choose your session type, select a convenient time, and complete your payment to confirm your booking.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept card payments and bank transfers via Paystack and Moniepoint. International clients can select USD or GBP payment options on our Payment page.
What is your cancellation policy?
We require 48 hours notice for all cancellations and reschedules. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice are not eligible for refunds or session transfers. Please review our full Refund Policy for details.
Are sessions only virtual?
Yes. All our counselling sessions are currently conducted online, allowing you to receive support wherever you are.
What is a free clarity call?
A free 30-minute introductory call where you share your situation, ask questions, and explore whether our services are the right fit for you with no pressure and no commitment required.
